Wellspring Camps really work! Compare the weight gains that occurred in the year prior to camp to the dramatic results obtained at our camps. Note also, below, that outpatient programs typically produce much slower, and much less motivating, outcomes.

The graph below reveals the most important outcome of all: weight losses that were either maintained or continued by the vast majority of participants. This is statistically and medically very significant and an unprecedented result in the history of research on weight loss.

The following graph shows the results for all of the controlled studies on the treatment of childhood and adolescent weight problems that were published in the past 40 years. You can see that the results from the typical professional programs get better when the programs are longer. The results for our programs, programs that immerse participants in lifestyle change, barely fit on the same chart because they are so much better.
