Continuing Care for Success at Home
Family Camp continues to work with parents and campers long after they have returned home.
Towards the end of each session, campers and parents learn how to use Wellspring's year-round online Continuing Care program. Located at www.myselfmonitoring.com, parents and campers are strongly encouraged to log on daily to continue:
They can also continue to communicate with other families to maintain support, stay motivated, and get assistance with solving problems.
Behavioral Coaches from Family Camp observe progress and continue to work with your family in private online discussions, as well as by phone. This sustained interaction reinforces your effort and focus, and assists with problem solving.
The Continuing Care program continues until June 1, 2011.
The cost of this program ($600 per family) is required as part of tuition. However, Wellspring believes so strongly in the Continuing Care program that campers who successfully complete the program will be refunded the entire cost of the Continuing Care Program.
The fee is refunded based on meeting two criteria:
- Camper completes 140 out of 180 days of self-monitoring (3 food items with fat and calories recorded per day)
- Parent (or camper) obtains a verified height and weight and provides this form back to Wellspring via mail, fax, or email.
